Data Collection

Transly does not collect, store, or track any personal data.

• No user accounts
• No analytics
• No tracking
• No advertising identifiers

Files and Content

All files opened or edited in Transly remain entirely on your device. The app only accesses files that you explicitly select using standard macOS file dialogs.

API Keys and Translation Services

Transly supports automatic translation using user-provided API keys from third-party services such as OpenAI or DeepSeek.

• API keys are entered voluntarily by the user
• API keys are stored securely in the macOS Keychain
• API keys are used only to perform translation requests
• API keys are never transmitted to any developer-controlled servers

Translation requests are sent directly from the app to the selected third-party service. Use of these services is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Data Sharing

Transly does not share data with the developer or any third parties. All processing happens locally on your Mac, except for translation requests initiated by the user.

In-App Purchases

Transly uses Apple’s In-App Purchase system for premium features. No payment or billing information is accessible to the developer.

Children’s Privacy

Transly does not collect any personal information and is not directed toward children.
